2009 Toyota Rav4
This vehicle is in fair to poor condition. It has multiple areas with exterior body damage. The driver side front is missing the fog light. It has noticeable hail damage to the roof and hood. The interior shows dirty with heavy stained carpet. The drivers seat has a tear that has duct tape over it. The engine starts and has no unusual sounds. I was not able to drive the car. Rebecca said that she drove the car on occasion.

Kelly Blue Book (KBB.com) cites a private party value ranging from $4595 to $6062 in fair condition. I would place this cars value at the lowest end. These Rav4s are a poplar car and should be easily marketable. This car, however, is quit tatered with high mileage. It might take a little time to sell and the asking price of $4500 may need to be negotiable. Other Rav4s in the area in much better condition and with less miles are listed for sale between $6200 and $7900.

1998 Toyota Tacoma Regular cab
4 cyl motor/4wd/158905 miles
This vehicle is in fair to good condition. The passenger side exterior door panel has damage. The tires are old and dry rotted. The interior dash stereo is missing. The battery has been removed. A battery from another vehicle was temporarily installed and the engine did start. Rebecca said that the motor leaked oil. I was not able to drive the truck so I could not determine how it drove.

Kelly Blue Book (KBB.com) cites a private party value ranging from $3752 to $5733 in fair condition. A little higher in good condition. If the stereo was present and the tires were not dry rotted I would place the value at $6000 (assuming the vehicle drives okay). Given the bad tires and the missing radio, I would place the value at $5000. I did not ask Rebecca if she knew where the stereo and battery might be located. A battery will need to be purchased (approx cost at $125) to sell the truck. These type trucks are quit popular and this truck should sell rather easily and quickly. Both the tires and radio will be a sticking point to any potential buyer. I would need to drive this truck to see if there are any drive-ability issues before establishing an asking price. Other similar Tacomas are listed for sale ranging from $6000 to $7995.
